Christmas Time (in my head)

I figure if Williams Sonoma can deck the halls, then I can start singing “What Do the Lonely Do (at Christmas)?” without judgment.

Normally I’d wait until the Halloween candy has been reduced to 75% off (and it’s only the nastiest kinds, like that generic black and orange wrapped ones or candy corn without tips—side note: what is the flavor/brand/purpose of those black/orange candies besides depression and angst?) to jig a jig for the supposed birth of Jesus, but I’ve been “Christmas in July” since June-sih.

perusing for stocking stuffers
looking for an awesome gift for my soon-to-be 4 year old godson
fine-tuning a Christmas wish list for those who may ask me what I want. Oh, you can judge this 25 year old woman if you want, but I remain unbothered.

This year will end on a good note (Lord willing) because this graduate student is graduating, baby! I know the recession is here in your wallets and all, but if you must double my Christmas gift as a graduation gift, all I ask is that you do it with flair, nahmean?
